“Comares", "Patios" and "Projections of the Alhambra".

In the exhibition "La Alhambra Proyectada" / "Projections of the Alhambra" at Casa de Zafra in Granada, open from December 18th 2025 until February 15th 2026, I present two series:

 

In the first, I use oil paint to depict idealized views of the palace from different perspectives; in the second, using watercolors, I show the architectural projection on the drawings, both in the floor plan and in the elevation of some areas of the building.

Placing myself on that subtle line between figuration and abstraction, I work on the arrangement of color in space and in the positive and negative pictorial spaces that are generated to obtain an interesting interplay of chromatic and formal interactions.
