ABOUT
Born in Granada in 1973, Fernando was immersed in the world of art from an early age. His mother worked in the bookstores of the Alhambra, making its historic walls his first encounter with art and color. Growing up in a family dedicated to creativity, his father was both a furniture designer and an amateur painter, his sister a fashion designer, and two of his brothers pursued studies in Fine Arts.

In 1991, Fernando traveled to Paris to visit museums, a passion that has since become an essential part of his life. He began painting in 1992, deepening his knowledge of Color Theory, the Bauhaus School, and the works of artists such as Paul Klee, Johannes Itten, and Wassily Kandinsky. He went on to study Conservation and Restoration of Cultural Heritage before completing a degree in Art History.

His professional career has taken him across Spain and beyond, working on restoration projects in Italy, Argentina, the USA (Color Sinopsis, OCJAC Gallery, 2015), and Ecuador (Quito en Síntesis, Sara Palacios Art Gallery, 2016). Alongside his restoration work, he has exhibited his paintings in cultural centers and galleries. Since his first exhibition in 2011, he has participated in both solo and group shows, with Naked Rooftops, presented in March 2025, marking his 14th exhibition.

Since 2017, Fernando is a tenured professor in the painting department of the Faculty of Fine Arts, University of Seville, Spain, where he is deeply committed to the completion of art projects on an international scale.
